Instructor InfoAbraham Leal is the Director and Founder of Critical Hit Studio & Academy. With the studio and academy, he is proud to be able to spread his artistic knowledge to everyone in his hometown and is extremely excited to be working on big entertainment projects in Mexico. What inspired Abraham to be a 3D artist is The Hobbit book and all the lore that surrounds it. Prior to becoming a 3D artist, he was going to medical school and he decided to do a complete 180 and get into Digital Design and Entertainment Production. When he quit medical school, he couldn't draw, paint, or sculpt to save his life but he was so convinced of his definite desire and worked hard to turn it into a reality. His advice to artists who want to get into the 3D industry is to practice properly, be patient and stay humble. He believes in always having a goal in mind, and always open to learning and improving. I'm a professional 3D artist with several years of relevant experience and I am the owner of Critical Hit Studio. In this course, I will show you how to create a game character from start to finish.We will begin by sculpting our character in Zbrush. I will show you the important things you need to watch out for when sculpting a male character, and how to get a perfect proportion so the character will look great with clothing. We will create our cloth in Marvelous Designer and then add extra details in Zbrush to really bring out the quality. We will model our armor, sword and our accessories using Maya, we will cover techniques on how to create clean hard surface edges and a nice organic feel for some specific props. We will create details like scratches and damages to the armor, belt, straps, and the rest of our accessories to truly bring them to life. After creating our high resolution meshes, we will retopologize everything so we can have a clean topology that is animation-ready. Then we will unwrap our models, bake our maps and create our textures. We will then apply all of these textures to our character to further enhance it. Instructor InfoEmiel Sleegers always had love for video games and when he was young, he started using Unity3D for programming but he found himself gravitating more towards the art of making games. Now he is currently working as an environment artist in Ubisoft. He contributed to creating AAA games such as Forza Horizon 3 and The Division 2. His all time favorite game is The Last of Us and that video game is what inspired him to want to work in the game industry. His advice for beginner artists is to focus on one aspect of gaming that they are passionate about, stick to it and get better at it. His hobbies include anything related to games or films, whether it be working on personal projects, freelance work or going out for movies. Course Info In this course, we will go over how to create a snowy environment using 3ds Max, Substance Designer, Marmoset and Unreal. This environment will include having a snowy cabin with terrain, nice trees and plants and will be setup in Unreal Engine. We will learn how to create procedural textures in Substance Designer and we will go over how to edit those textures very quickly so we can have multiple variations. We will then go over how to model our cabin and foliage inside 3ds Max. Once all of that is done, we will go into Unreal Engine where we will set up our scene, our materials, and apply different variations such as dirtness, parallax, mapping, vertex painting, and many more. We will add decals to enhance the overall scene, do some nice lighting and finally polish the scene.

Hello everyone, my name is Marwan Hussein, and I welcome you to my new fantastic course.
How to create The Dune Ornithopter with Blender and Substance Painter from start to finish.
A lot of Blender users watch movies on TVs or on their computes, and most of them love to create something they liked on that screen, even me when I watch something on the screen I tell myself, I like to create that thing, it's nice challenging feeling the artist feels when he sees something interesting on the screen.
When I saw The Dune movie I loved a lot of stuff there, the thing I loved the most is the 2 set Ornithopter for the Fremen, at that time I decided to create this amazing artwork, it was very challenging, and not so quite easy to create but I did it in the end.

When I completed the design I immediately started recording this course it was so challenging course I admitted, but the result was very nice and beautiful.
In this course we will cover modeling, we will model the Ornithopter from start to finish, I got all the Blueprint images ready in the Project folder section, download them from there to start the modeling journey.
In the modeling section, we will learn a lot of stuff, at the end of the day we want a clean and fast way to create all the Ornithopter parts so we need a good technique to achieve that, so that is what I'm about to teach you in that section.
After the modeling section, we will learn step by step how to unwrap all the parts, this section is a very good section for the student who has some problems understanding how the UV is created, we will create a lot of parts step by step until you master the unwrapping side.
When we complete unwrapping all the parts, we will learn how to use UDIMs to create multiple UVs for one object to get very high-resolution results, and that's very helpful for the close camera shots and for the artist who cares about the details.
Now the Dune Ornithopter is ready to take out of Blender to Substance Painter, and there we will learn step by step how to texture the 3D model there and how to take the advantage of the UDIMs to create highly details UV textures.
We are not finished there, after all of that we will send the model back to Blender and we will learn how to import all the UV textures in the correct way.
After the textured side is finished we will use the Armature ( the Bone system ) to rig the Ornithopter, we will create bones for the wings and for the legs, and for the body, we will add all the necessary bones to make the Ornithopter ready to fly or to bose it to take a nice shot, all of that we will do it step by step.
After the rigging section now we are ready to render the scene, but we need an environment to put the Ornithopter in, so we will learn how to create a nice environment to achieve that, we will use a nice technique to tile the texture without you notice the image repetition.
After we take the shots we will send the render result to photoshop to make some post-processing, and we will use the compositor as well to add the final touch for the next rendered images, which means we will learn how to post-processing the image in Blender and out of Blender.

Corazon Bryant always had an artistic bone in her body. When she was only 2 years old, she would make detailed drawings on her mother's wall. Her mother loved the drawings so much, she decided to keep them. With the encouragement of her mother, she continued drawing and she only got better as time went by. When Corazon was in middle and high school, she earned money making portraits for her classmates and even for her teachers. She pursued a college degree in Media Arts & Animation and later worked for architectural and entertainment companies such as Camm Productions, ID DI Design, and PDT International. She also had an opportunity to do some freelance work for Mega Pickle Entertainment. While working as a 3D artist, she had a chance to teach 3D animation classes in an A+ school. This is when she found her true love - which is not only to talk about 3D endlessly but to also inspire greatness in young upcoming artists. I will go over the major forms that you need to know to be able to produce a realistic female character. We will create details such as skin pores and tiny wrinkles to bring life to our character. We will learn about different ways of retopologizing our character, using automatic retopology and manual retopology using Wrap and Maya. We will generate our UV map for our character using the UDIM workflow. I will go over what UDIMs are, and why they are important when it comes to creating high resolution textures. You will learn how to simulate clothing using Marvelous Designer. We will then take our clothes in Maya to retopologize them to create a clean mesh, and then back into Zbrush to create major folds, minor folds, and memory folds. We will use Mari to hand paint our skin from scratch. I will show you exactly how to make different types of maps such as color map, specular map, and sss map step by step. We will create real world shaders such as silk, metal, and skin and we will go through the process of learning how to connect our maps properly. Then we move on to creating our hair using Zbrush and Maya. We will create our main hair using Fibermesh, then we go inside Maya to make Nhair for our braids that we will then use for our Xgen hair. We will create realistic eyebrows, eyelashes and peachfuzz all using one of the most powerful tools in Maya called Xgen. Hi everyone, welcome to Victory3D. My name is Corazon Bryant, professional 3d artist and educator. In this course, I will show you how to create a beautiful female character for games. Starting with a sphere, we will use Blender's sculpting tools to achieve an accurate female anatomy. I will dive into the important forms you need to know to make your female body believable. I will also show you how to build a sexy dress, shoes, necklace, and other accessories so our character will be ready for a ball. After we have our basic and primary forms down, we will move on to retopologizing. I will show you how to create a topology that is animation-friendly and that will also be perfect for adding high resolution details. After we retopologize, we will create UVs so we can create customize textures later on. We will create sculpting details such as skin folds, wrinkles, and pores. Once we have all of our details down, we will bake everything and create textures for our skin, dress, and accessories. Then on to creating our character's long hair. For the hair, I will show you how to create particle system and later use them for hair cards. Hair cards are very important part of the game creation process and in this course, you will learn how to professionally optimize hair to meet your poly count and budget needs. To finalize everything, we will do a realtime render using Eevee and I will show you how to composite your images so that you can have beauty shots you can use to amplify your portfolio. My name is Daniel da Costa and I have been a 3D character artist for about 10 years now. I have worked for TV commercials, movie agencies and 3D animation studios, currently I'm working as a freelance character artist and 3D tutor.

COURSE PROJECTS
We will start with a sphere using our sculpt system. Then we will make the general blocking of the head. I will explain what you should watch for in an initial sculpting. Then we will make the hair block and torso, always starting the model from the top to the bottom. Then we will make the eyelashes and eyebrows using particle system, then it we are going to make the hair too. After that we will work on the eyes shading, unwrap the head and start the texture process. After we're done with our female model and texture, we will start refining the shading and finished with the render.

● I have designed this course for intermediate 3d modelling students, who want to model realistic female characters for cinematic industry but they struggle to get it because they don't find a tutorial which is step by step, no fast forward, no skip and coming from a production artist who is doing this for years.
● The course is also for artists who want to speed up their workflow in Blender and improve their skill in making female heads, and all processes from sculpt to render.
WHO IS NOT THE IDEAL STUDENT
This course is not designed for absolute Blender beginners. This course doesn't cover the entire body it only focuses on the face.

In this course you can create a pilot tv show or movie. Rad will teach classes on all the topics above plus stream the process as He and Andra create a project along side students so you can see real world application of the lesson plans. Theoretical ideas are great, but there is nothing more valuable than seeing a real world application of these concepts and where they work and where you sometimes completely throw out the rules.
I love the idea of learning by doing. In this course you will jump into the deep end head first and attempt to create a movie or tv show while learning all the fundamentals of that process. It may seem a little overwhelming, but I think students should just make the best tv show/film they can make without the pressure of it being perfect. As they say, finished is better than perfect. Depending on student's schedules, they can also just board 1 scene of their project as well.

Now he is currently working as a Senior 3D Artist at FlippedNormals. He contributed to creating AAA games such as Forza Horizon 3 and The Division 2. His all time favorite game is The Last of Us and that video game is what inspired him to want to work in the game industry. His advice for beginner artists is to focus on one aspect of gaming that they are passionate about, stick to it and get better at it. His hobbies include anything related to games or films, whether it be working on personal projects, freelance work or going out for movies. Course Info Hello everyone! And welcome to this very exciting tutorial course on how to create a game environment from start to finish.My name is Emiel Sleegers, I am a senior 3d environment artist who have years of experience working for AAA game studios and I will be your tutor for this course.In this course we will go over on how to create a Realtime game environment completely from scratch.That means that we will make it 100% from start to finish and we will have 95% of this tutorial in real time.For this course we will be using Maya, Zbrush, Substance painter and designer, a tiny little bit of photoshop, marmoset toolbag, Speedtree and unreal engine 4.I know, I know it might sound like a lot of programs but I will make sure that everything in this tutorial is easy to understand and follow.Now, this tutorial is targeted towards intermediate artists, these are artists who are already familiar with the tools I just mentioned but just want to learn the workflows and techniques to creating a video game environment.As a quick little overview.We will start this course off with going over our reference and discussing on how we are going to create this environment.We will then start by making a nice blockout of the environment so that we have accuracy in the scaling and composition.We will first focus on the rocks since those are one of the main components in this tutorial.This means we will first complete all the rock sculpts in Zbrush. Setup the low poly in maya and bake the rocks in marmoset toolbag. Then we will create a rock material inside of substance designer and a special material inside of unreal engine to make the rocks look amazing. For this we also need to quickly create a special mask in substance painter which will give us control over the dirt amount and highlights of the rocks.After we have done all that we will move on to our moss system, since this is probably the second most important thing in this environment.I will start by creating a moss material inside of substance designer.Then I will show you how to use this material to create both procedural moss and hand made fuzzy moss for all your rocks.Finally, we will start by setting up our environment, doing lighting and composition passes. We will create some foliage inside of speedtree and placing it in our scene. We will create our temple building along with special tileable edge damages.
