An array of parameters in the Filter, Compressor, and Saturation modules lets you shape exactly the sound you're looking for: slim the signal with the adjustable slopes of the analog-modeled filter, use the compressor to soften your transients or tweak its parallel compression slider to get a fuller dynamic range, and customize the saturation with the drive, bias and tone knobs as well as several hysteresis mode options.
Tape Sculptor accurately captures the details of tape machine behavior to a remarkable degree. Emulate the way tape ages and wears over time with the Degrade module. Add in the sound of a tape being wrinkled or mangled with the Chew module. Use the Loss module to mimic the unique pattern of tape machine signal loss. Perfectly Clear Workbench is an application that uses Athentech's Perfectly Clear image correction libraries and is made available to demonstrate the capabilities of the Perfectly Clear processing libraries, face detection library and to allow a quick export of the processing settings for use.
Supported Image Formats
Perfectly Clear requires RGB-formatted images in either 8 or 16-bit color depth. Any image file that Photoshop or Lightroom can open and convert to this format may be used in Perfectly Clear. Monochrome and CMYK images must be converted to RGB before using Perfectly Clear. RAW files must be opened through Adobe Camera RAW and loaded into Photoshop to be accessible to Perfectly Clear. The DYNA REALISM™ modes sound different based on the serial number used, and you can specify any six-digit serial number you like. Musically shape the tone of your mix using a Baxandall EQ
SILVER BULLET mk2 includes a three-band Baxandall EQ with a Pultec-inspired low end. The top end is extremely smooth due to the shape of the filter, which affects a broad range of frequencies. MYTH was built to create the joy and inspiration we feel when playing with hardware. Instead of "programming" sounds you create sounds by exploration and tweaking. The sound is rich and organic, and the entire system acts like one organism.
Re-synthesis
In classical synthesis, oscillator waves are mostly static and you add filters and modulators to "program" all the variations to make the sound organic and interesting. MYTH offers a paradigm shift: drag and drop audio and it will be re-synthesised as an IRIS. The inherent variations and richness of the sample can now be exploited with the TRANSFORMER dials. Of course - you can also add classical LFOs, envelopes or filters as much as you want. Just...you will rarely feel the need!
Look Mum, no Cables
Modular systems are so powerful, but also complex and easily confusing. MYTH has modules, but no cables: like in a pedal board the modules are simply chained from left to right. Insanely powerful and unbeatably simple!

You can use MYTH as a virtual analog subtractive synth, create shimmering metallics, add colourful acoustic resonances, create glittering grain clouds ... or do all at the same time.
