Discrete Mathematics is the study of mathematical structures that can be considered discrete rather than continuous. The study includes integers, statements in logic, and graphs. Concepts and notations from discrete mathematics are especially useful in studying and describing objects and problems in branches of computer science, such as computer algorithms, programming languages, cryptography, automated theorem proving, and software development.

This course will cover the following topics

1. Properties of Numbers: Factors and Divisors; Greatest common divisor and least common multiple; Exponents and logarithms; Converting a number from one base to another.

2. Data Structures: Propositions and Logic; Truth tables; de Morgan's laws.

3. Elements of Set Theory: the union and the intersection of sets; The complement of a set; A partition of a set; Method of Truth Tables, Mathematical Induction.

4. Boolean Algebras: Principle of Duality; Idempotent Laws; Absorption Laws; Nullity Laws; de Morgan's Laws.

5. Relations and Functions: Equivalence Relations; One-One and onto Functions; Inverse functions.

6. The Counting Theory: Event and sample space; The Multiplication Principle; Combinatorial formulas; The Pigeonhole Principle

7. Probability: Probability Measures; Repeated Experiments; Conditional Probabilities; Bayes' Formula and Applications.

Prolog:Irgendwie verstand ich nicht so recht, warum das agile Arbeiten nun besser sein sollte. Wir waren vor ein paar Wochen auf Scrum umgestiegen. Nach Lehrbuch. Zertifiziert. Aber so richtig wollte sich kein Flow, wollte sich keine wirkliche Produktivit?tssteigerung einstellen. Schon nach zwei Sprints kam erstes Murren auf. Die Ziele, die wir uns gesteckt hatten, wurden nicht erf?llt. Der Produktmanager wurde unruhig, der Kunde fragte t?glich nach.*Was war das Problem? Es war nicht unsere Motivation. Es waren keine F?hrungskr?fte die uns nicht genug Raum gaben. Nein - wir hatte nur noch nicht verstanden, was Agilit?t, was agiles Arbeiten wirklich bedeutet. Once you've made it to selection school by doing well in the AMO in early February, which only about 15 do for Senior, you have about two weeks to do the APMO and then about a month to prepare for the Team Selection Test. There are four modules of 21 multi-task training segments each designed to build and develop these abilities. You may do up to two training segments per day to help you learn how to access your inner pharmacy to provide you with all the bio-chemicals you need for activation of your endocrine, nervous, cardiovascular and immune systems.This program is designed to share evidence-based knowledge and tools to be more attentive, relaxed, connected and in self-control of your mental and emotional state through mastering how you can fill you own inner pharmacy prescriptions from within. Through the tools and strategies of the Key Prescriptions participants enhance their wellness, emotional intelligence and ability to function successfully in whatever endeavor they choose in their work, study or relationships. As a special incentive, useful gifts are given to participants for every 7 days of the program they completeResearch studies have shown that with forty days of consistent behavior old habits can be broken and new ones established. This can work for being more focused and aware, establishing new exercise routines, eating a healthier diet, or improving well being and self-care. Through continual practice your body learns new ways of providing you the drugs you need from your inner pharmacy to be focused, relaxed and feeling good. Research has also shown that when there is accountability with a on going coaching relationship it can improve the results normally achieved by self-improvement courses or training programs up to 300%. The key to success, with or without a coach, is maintaining consistency and persistency in integrating what you are learning into new habits so that your body can provide you whatever substances needed when called upon. This is no difference then developing muscle memory or any new skill. Like learning to ride a bike or use a computer,through practice you soon utilize what you learned effortlessly as they become engrained in the body, brain and mind.

Requirements
The only requirement is a quiet place where you can meditate, or sit silently. A chair, the floor, a pillow, even lying down works.
Note: No basic instruction will be given on how to sit and how to breathe in this course. Instead, this course brings meditation to its basics by teaching us to 'sit in contentment' in whatever way that resonates with us and examine what within us cannot join us in contentment. Perfect for those who cannot meditate. In this way, meditation is being used as a tool to find a heal our conflicted energies. For this reason, much of this course relates to our thinking and actions and how we can unwittingly be contributing to our own discontentment by our approach to life. This course blends meditation coaching with early Buddhist spiritual understanding to help contentment be our permanent state. After all, that is where we started from, our Original State

A simple course on how we can return to our original state of contentment. In this course, we will learn to use 'sitting in contentment' to find our still spot - and from that spot begin to understand those parts of us that cannot sit still. We will learn the two steps of first finding contentment each day in mediation and then to find a deeper contentment through bring those parts of us that are unable to meditate to healing rest.What is Meditation??Meditation is simply 'sitting in contentment' and if we cannot remember how this feels we can simply begin by pretending - but we are not pretending. We simply have been discontented so long we cannot remember our original state of being of being content.Meditation allows us to 'sit in contentment' in the present moment for a few minutes each day and watch those parts of us that cannot sit with us. And how can they? These are the parts of us that cannot sit in contentment because they require more to feel content, requirements we formed in the past. So, our thinking created these energies making us the perfect self-healer.Meditation allows us to first watch from a place of safety, then to understand how these energies form, and then to heal our energies that now compete for control of our present moment. This leaves us sitting in contentment permanently, our original state before we became discontented.You see, we have 100 percent potential. But if 60% of our potential, our thinking is tied up in these energies that are monitoring, protecting, and searching for past experiences, only 40% of our potential is available as energy in the present moment to be anything new. We are weak even though we have expended lots of potential. 100 percent of our potential - to produce a 40% result.Meditation builds cooperation where conflict was, and this can increase our present consciousness to 100 percent very easily.Watch first, understand next, and then heal. This is the power of meditation.
