In this course you will learn everything you need to know to become a nutrition coach who specializes in sports nutrition. This course is taught by Jeroen who is an internationally certified personal trainer and internationally certified nutrition coach with over 12 years of experience helping clients and teaching other personal trainers and nutrition coaches how to better help athletes perform better.You'll learn about what nutrition athletes need and how it might be different from non-athletes. You will learn about the different energy systems and how these relate to nutrition and sports. You will learn about the smallest molecule named ATP that actually produces energy and how it's created within the electron transport chain. You will learn about water manipulation and how each macronutrient is metabolized to smaller molecules. You will learn how to hydrate athletes and what drinks to advise. You will also learn about special techniques like carb cycling and carb loading that might assist your athletes. You'll learn different ways to approach a nutrition plan and how to set up a diet plan for your athletes.By the end of this course you know everything you need to know about sports nutrition and you can actually start coaching athletes the right away as nutrition coach.

No previous experience in Feldenkrais required. You will need a yoga mat and/or a blanket; an extra towel or blanket, comfortable clothing; and a bit more space on the floor than you'd need for yoga, or for a workout.
Description
In this course, I will lead you through a group of five movement lessons that will give you strategies for moving from lying on your back, to sitting, to standing. I will use the metaphor of getting back on your feet, when life knocks you down. These lessons, developed by Moshe Feldenkrais, physicist, engineer, judo black belt, and pioneer in the field of human development, can help you improve your balance, lessen or eliminate chronic pain, improve your performance in dance, sports, martial arts, or music; and become more resilient in the face of life's challenges. I decided to use the metaphor of getting back up when life knocks you down, for this introductory series, because Dr. Feldenkrais has said that health is measured, not by the capacity to stay standing, but by the ability to be knocked down and then return to standing. So, in other words, we are in a good state of health when we can suffer a shock of any kind, and recover to the level we were before the incident. Feldenkrais took this idea a step further, though, and said that he wanted to help people live their avowed and unavowed dreams: in other words, to live the conscious vision you have for your life, and the dreams that you may have given up on, long ago. So, one of the purposes of this work is that we can, not only recover the abilities we had before the shock, but, through the process of recovering, find new abilities; to refine ourselves to such an extent that we are in a better position to achieve our dreams than before the trouble. And, even though that may sound theoretical, it's my experience that these lessons CAN help us achieve our dreams, and in a very practical way: by studying our own movement, and discovering new movements and new qualities with which to move, and with which to live. This, you may find as you go through this course, is very empowering, putting you more in control of your own functioning, no matter the reason that brought you here. So, join me, as we find many options for you to get up, and stay up, with more ease, more skill, more poise, and more elegance! It s inevitable. Life will knock you down. How The A.B.A. Method Works
A.B.A stands for awareness, breakdown, and application. I developed this method to teach difficult moves to my crew but realized it works equally well for beginners. It's like learning a new language: moves are the vocabulary and combos are like sentences. You start by learning to pronounce words (body awareness). Then, you learn simple conjugation (breakdown). Finally, you use what you've learned in simple sentences (application to music) and repeat in intervals till you have it committed to muscle memory. The course includes both basic and intermediate moves, warm-ups, cool-downs, conditioning exercises, contexts for application (your Bar Mitzvah or office party is just the tip of the iceberg), history, practice mixes, list of videos to study and an invitation to a private community forum to share progress, get mentorship and find local events to attend.

This dance gave me direction in my early teens, introduced me to my wife in my 20s and now, in my 30s, still brings me joy in a way that s hard to put into words. My intention is to share that happiness with you.

Description
This course is homemade bringing my 18 years of experience to your home. Designed to take you through the A to Z of Pilates. It starts off with the introductory lessons of Pilates and then there are numerous workouts that you can do using equipment and a multitude of workouts that you don't need any equipment for.
Please note, you don't need to buy equipment, there are plenty of workouts using things you'd readily have at home included.
Workouts that need home based equipment include
- Matwork
- Metabolic
- Weights (tinned food or water bottles will be perfect)
- Wall (A wall, door or cupboard door)
Workouts that include equipment are
- Ball (stability ball usually 65cm or 75cm for taller people)
- Small Ball (10 to 15cm ball)
- Band (therapy band, any color that you have is great.. if you go get a band Blue is the average resistance) Grey or black are stronger and every other color is lighter resistance)
- Foam Roller (90cm or longer in length)
It is recommended that you have a mat or soft surface to work on, carpeting or using a couple of towels will be perfect.
Pilates is a type of exercise system where you place your body in the correct alignment for each exercise. By doing this you lower exercise related risks and improve the quality of each move is increased ten fold.
When you can hold the correct positions while performing an exercise, you start to work multiple muscle groups and those muscle groups are the precise ones that correct your posture. Do you want to make your workout more effective? This is the method for you.
There are Six Principles that oversee your Pilates practice. These include
Breathing
Rib Placement
Shoulder Placement
Activating your Core muscles effectively
Head Placement
Lower Back placement
Better than just improving your Pilates exercises you can then start to use these Six Principles when you do any other kind of exercise as well - Optimizing any fitness regiment you do.
Once we've learnt these Principles we'll start to build the foundation matwork exercises (one at a time) incorporating all six optimizers simultaneously.
This may sound daunting but you will get the hang of it easily. You can then spend time repeating these steps to grow your confidence or go on to do the full workouts provided.
Once you are proficient in the basics you can start working with the full workouts. I hope you enjoy the workouts. Please remember that Pilates is slow and controlled. Movements are usually smaller and less quick than what you'd expect.
Who this course is for
Anyone at any age can do Pilates. You don't need any prior experience but please do the easier variations if you are just starting out.

History of Hijama TreatmentHijama is an Arabic word. It is an ancient and holistic practice to treat various diseases. However, the exact origin of Hijama therapy is unknown, and it is a matter of controversy. Cupping therapy is documented in Chinese and ancient Egyptian medical practices.It is assumed that cupping had started over 5000 years ago, which has developed over time. It is believed that animal horns were used to suck out the blood and drain the toxins. Then, over the years the horn was evolved into bamboo cups and eventually replaced by glass.How does Hijama works?Hijama follows some process. Firstly, the practitioner places the cup through acupuncture, according to the pain points on the body. Then, cups are applied through the suction of a hose or even glass. However, glass cups are applied in a traditional way, which uses an open flame. The flame heats the inner part of the cup. After that, flames are removed quickly, and glass stuck on the skin. Then, let the cup sit on the skin for the five to ten minutes, sometimes 10-15 minutes.Cupping Therapy at a GlanceUsually, the cupping treatment involves a negative pressure on warming and suction being applied through a cup. It creates a vacuum to draw up toxins from the surface of the skins, which increases the blood flow. The cups are usually placed on neck, shoulders, back or the body part where pain occurs. There are different types of cupping available with various types of cups.Types of cupping2 types of basic cuppings are available Dry cupping and Wet cupping. However, there are some other types too, Moving Cupping and Air Cupping.Dry cupping It doesn t suck out the blood, while wet one is done with the bloodletting. In dry cupping process, the practitioner soaks a cotton ball in alcohol and lights it up. After that, it is placed inside the cup to remove available oxygen. Next, the cup is applied to the body. Since the oxygen was removed, the cup sits on the skin and attached.Wet Cupping This type of cupping sucks out a small amount of blood through a puncture. The punctured skin let the toxins to leave the body.Moving Cupping Another type of cupping is available, which is named as moving cupping. Unlike the basic cuppings, this one can be moved while placed on the body.Air CuppingIt is considered as alternatives to fire cupping. In this process, a handheld suction is used to take out all the air from the cups, which creates the vacuum without heating. Air cupping is a new practice.
