Description
The course will focus on personal housing decisions.
The course will discuss how to approach the decision of purchasing or renting a home, which can be very complex given the long-term investment nature of a home purchase, the high cost relative to other expenses, and the different time frames between renting and purchasing.
We will discuss decisions related to renting, like selecting an apartment and analyzing the lease agreement.
Learners will understand concepts related to the home purchasing process. We will discuss the options for buying a home remotely, the importance of an inspection, the time frame to buy a home, and home buying apps that can be useful in the home buying process.
The course will also cover financing basics for first-time homebuyers, how to apply for a mortgage, what a mortgage clause is, and describe the escrow process.
We will compare a loan officer and a mortgage broker. Learners will understand different loan characteristics and much more.
The course will also have practice problems, including downloadable Excel Workbooks, which users may also open using Google Sheets.
The Excel Workbooks will generally have at least two tabs. One tab will have the answer key so learners can deconstruct the problem. The second tab is where we work the practice problem step-by-step along with the instructional videos.

Statistics
Forecasting
Excel
Regression
Monte Carlo Simulation
Linear Programming
Pivot Tables
Business Intelligence
Excel Analytics
Requirements
Basic Math
Description
Do you think you need to learn new software to perform data analysis, statistics, simulations? You don't! Everything you need to get started in the world of data analytics is already on your computer in the wonderful application called Excel.
This course will first acquaint you with the Excel environment including how to use simple and complex functions, hot-key shortcuts and navigation tips to make sure you work efficiently and effectively. From there, I lead you in lectures and practice exercises on the fundamental topics of data analytics.
Data Visualizations - Visualizing data is an important part in analyzing data as well as presenting and explaining what it means. Lectures in this course Included how to craft and use bar charts, line charts, radial charts, histograms, box and whisker charts, pie charts, conditional formatting and Sparklines.
Pivot Tables - Pivot Tables are very powerful, simple to use tools built into excel. The lectures will include how to structure data to get the most out of pivot tables, and then a few use cases including root cause analysis, comparative analysis, along with other visualization tools specific to pivot tables.
Statistics - The Statistics module is by far the most densely packed module in this course. As a statistician by training, I present a deep dive into the data behind the statistics and how to use different statistical tests based on different circumstances. The module is filled with different lectures and exercises involving ANOVA tests, T Tests, Chi-Squared Tests, Tests for Normality, Regression Analysis and more.
Forecasting - Organizations have to be able to anticipate the future. The forecasting tools presented in this course help us accomplish this feat. Forecasting is presented in two different ways - Factor forecasting and Time Series forecasting. For each approach to forecasting, many tools and techniques are introduced and reviewed including Regression analysis, Monte Carlo Simulation, Simple Moving Averages, and Auto-Regressive techniques.
Excel Tools - Excel has a lot of useful tools that don't quite fit neatly into any of the other modules. The last module of this course explores the use cases of using these tools. In particular, several archetypal problems are introduced and solved using the miscellaneous data analysis tools found in excel, including Excel Solver.

What you'll learn
Reinforcement Learning basics
Tabular methods
Bellman equation
Q Learning
Deep Reinforcement Learning
Learning from video input
Requirements
Basic python knowledge is needed. AI / Machine Learning / Pytorch basics - nice to have but not fully necessary. Only open source tools will be in use.
Description
UPDATE:All the code and installation instructions have been updated and verified to work with Pytorch 1.6 !!Artificial Intelligence is dynamically edging its way into our lives. It is already broadly available and we use it - sometimes even not knowing it - on daily basis. Soon it will be our permanent, every day companion. And where can we place Reinforcement Learning in AI world? Definitely this is one of the most promising and fastest growing technologies that can eventually lead us to General Artificial Intelligence! We can see multiple examples where AI can achieve amazing results - from reaching super human level while playing games to solving real life problems (robotics, healthcare, etc).Without a doubt it's worth to know and understand it!And that's why this course has been created. We will go through multiple topics, focusing on most important and practical details. We will start from very basic information, gradually building our understanding, and finally reaching the point where we will make our agent learn in human-like way - only from video input! What's important - of course we need to cover some theory - but we will mainly focus on practical part. Goal is to understand WHY and HOW.In order to evaluate our algorithms we will use environments from - very popular - OpenAI Gym. We will start from basic text games, through more complex ones, up to challenging Atari gamesWhat will be covered during the course ? - Introduction to Reinforcement Learning- Markov Decision Process- Deterministic and stochastic environments- Bellman Equation- Q Learning- Exploration vs Exploitation- Scaling up- Neural Networks as function approximators- Deep Reinforcement Learning- DQN- Improvements to DQN- Learning from video input- Reproducing some of most popular RL solutions- Tuning parameters and general recommendationsSee you in the class!

What you'll learn
Effective Communication Skills
Positive Body Language
Interpersonal Skills
Effective Speaking Skills
Requirements
Willingness to improve and learn new concepts of Communication Skills
Description
Communication and Interpersonal skills are the skills we use every day when we communicate and interact with other people, both individually and in groups. People with strong interpersonal skills are often more successful in both their professional and personal lives. Interpersonal skills include a wide variety of skills, though many are centred around communication, such as listening, questioning and understanding body language. They also include the skills and attributes associated with emotional intelligence or being able to understand and manage your own and others' emotions.People with good interpersonal skills tend to be able to work well in a team or group, and with other people more generally. They are able to communicate effectively with others, whether family, friends, colleagues, customers or clients. Interpersonal skills are therefore vital in all areas of life at work, in education and socially.Through awareness of how you interact with others, and with practice, you can improve your interpersonal skills. This section of Skills You Need is full of information and practical advice that you can use to improve and develop your interpersonal skills. We've all been developing our interpersonal skills since childhood, usually subconsciously.Interpersonal skills often become so natural that we may take them for granted, never thinking about how we communicate with other people. If you have developed good habits, this is fine. However, it is of course also possible to develop bad habits, and then fail to understand why our communications or relationships are suffering. However, with a little time and effort, you can develop both your awareness and these skills. Good interpersonal skills can improve many aspects of your life, both professionally and socially, as they lead to better understanding and better relationships.Interpersonal skills are also sometimes referred to as social skills, people skills, soft skills, or life skills. Although all these terms can include interpersonal skills, they tend to be broader and may therefore also refer to other types of skills. Many people also use the term communication skills for interpersonal skills, but interpersonal skills cover more, including decision-making and problem-solving, plus working in a group or team and emotional intelligence.

Your systems and resources are your organization's lifeline. If your data falls into the wrong hands, you could stand to lose it all. Especially now, in a world where credential theft is so pervasive, you need to be able to validate who your users are and what they can access within your organization. Join cybersecurity leader Mandy Huth for an introduction to identity and access management, a core component of your company's security posture, and its first line of defense against threats and attacks.
Explore the key concepts of identity as part of standard security frameworks used to authenticate users, groups, assets, and other entities. Learn the basics of granting permissions to designated users with enhanced access control features such as single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, least privilege, and birthright access. By the end of this course, you'll be ready to implement a zero-trust capability, role mining, best practices for passwords, and conditional access.
