Description
With increasing scrutiny on buildings' sustainability performance and a rapid rise in demand for green buildings, building designers can no longer afford to ignore their impact on the environment and society. Clients, investors and regulators across the globe are increasingly demanding green buildings, however, there are so many different and contrasting approaches to Sustainable Architecture & Building Design that it is difficult to understand where to begin.I strongly believe, if building designers are given the right tools, they can decide which of the various sustainable design approaches are right for their project. This course provides the foundations for understanding the key approaches to sustainable building design and allows architects to avoid paying expensive consultancy fees while increasing their market appeal. This course is split into 6 main sections, that is based on the standard Building Plan of Work:Introduction: Understanding what Sustainable Architecture and Building Design is and why it is vital to start adopting it. Pre-Design: Investigating the importance of Green Building Certifications, Community Engagement and Lifecycle Assessments (LCAs) and how your project can benefit from them before starting design. Design: Exploring Net Zero Carbon, Circular and Biophilic design approaches and how to implement in your project successfully. In-Use: Exploring Passive, Active and Water Conservation design approaches and how to implement in your project successfully. End of Life: Exploring Design for Reuse, Durability, Adaptability and Deconstruction design approaches and how to implement in your project successfully. Industry Case Studies: Consolidating the knowledge from the first 5 modules and looking at how Sustainable Building Design is implemented in industry with an interview with Managing Director of JKT Architecture. This course will prepare everyone from architectural students, looking to secure a job in the hugely growing green building market; sustainability and ESG professionals just starting out a career in the built environment and those who are managing their own home design and construction. By the end of this course, you will have a solid understand of why Sustainable Architecture and Building Design is so important and how to begin incorporating the principles in your own projects. This course will provide you with a how-to guide on what you need to know, and how you can implement this knowledge successfully. In 2 hours, this course will accelerate your career and give you the cutting edge in one of the fastest-growing fields globally.

Description
For an effective team: Clear goals, Collaboration, focus and commitment - results orientedResearch shows that the common characteristics of high-performance teams are guiding team rules. Team rules include an agreement that outlines what the team wants to do, why it is important, and how the team will work to achieve the result. Rules are the writing down of the common understanding on certain points. They have a dynamic structure that can be changed when needs differ. In this study, participants will know the characteristics of an effective team and use the strategies they have learned to create effective teams and their members in order to be an effective team.Effective teams meet or exceed the standards (quantity, quality and timeliness) expected by the team's customers. A team's customers may be internal customers - that is, other teams or individuals within the organisation - and/or external customers.Effective teams work together well and get better as time goes on. They learn how each individual team member operates and become skilled in coordinating their activities. They monitor each other's performance and catch mistakes, and they back each other up and offer support and help where needed. Effective teams positively contribute to the learning and well-being of each individual team member.

Solutions focused for Genations Z, Alpha, and younger Millennials
What you'll learn
Learn why new generations leave the church and other orgs.; and their core values, characteristics, needs, and perspectives; and this turning point in history.
Learn what formed this generation, why they are tougher than previous gens, and their specific attitudes on issues.
Learn how to work with them, mistakes to avoid, how to use effective solutions, and consider solutions.
Learn about understanding people's needs, three keys to creating change, secrets to creating change, and select steps forward from your own ideas.
Requirements
This course requires at least a group of three, and use of the workbook. It isn't for individuals.
Description
How can we understand new generations? They are walking away from the church and jobs. Working with them is a mystery to older generations because they seem very different from them, and they are. But their values are similar. They have high moral values and courageously stand for them. They aren't as different as we think. The differences are in the details. They don't trust older adults or organizations because of failures they see. They are unwilling to allow problems in society to fester without addressing the causes. How do we resolve this situation? Through understanding and respect we can include them and become a better world. In this course you will learn about their differences and what has made them this way. For perspective, you will learn about previous turning points in history and gain perspective on change. Solutions focused: In a class setting of 3 or more people, you will search for solutions that fit your particular circumstances and select three ways to move forward with integrating new generations into your organization or ministering to them. This class is not available to individuals, but to groups of 3 or more. Each student must purchase the course. It requires the workbook for additional material, exercises, and discussion. A moderator or facilitator should lead the class. Please be aware that not all organizations can accept change. New generations are uniformly progressive (not liberal), and not all organizations can accept progressive attitudes. Weekly classes: I recommend doing this class on a day in each of four weeks. Allow around two hours for presentation adn discussion. The discussion is very important. Start each section with some humor. Humor brings people together. Each of the four major sections has a humorous and very relevant YouTube video link at the beginning. It isn't part of the course, but I highly recommend using it to bring people together. The links are in the workbook.Free workbook: Each registered student should download the workbook. However it can be printed by organizations for each student. The text of the entire presentation is in the workbook. I recommend making each section's contents available at the beginning of each section. The pages are easier to make notes on prior to placing them in folders. Workbook folders: I recommend purchasing three prong presentation folders with a clear front for 8.5 x 11" paper. These are much less expensive than hard shell folders with three-ring binders. Who is Dorian Scott Cole? Dorian Cole is a former pastor of a mainline denomination who currently is an author with an online publishing ministry. He develops courses for training or seminars in industry and religion, as well as nonfiction and fiction books. His publishing focus is new generations, and spirituality. He has taken 13 week technical courses, reduced them to two weeks, presented them to students who spoke little English, and gotten better results. He studied teaching through MIT, and uses reinforcement techniques from psychology. With formal education and experience in several fields, including religion, technology, psychology, management, and movie production, he is cross-disciplinary in approach. He likes variety, creativity, and helping people develop. In course development, organizational settings, and writing, he uses social psychology to understand people, organizational problems, and helps them bring change. Attitude change is often essential. As a peacemaker, he tries to bring different parties together to work together to heal or resolve organizational and societal problems. He is ecumenical and works with other denominations in public efforts such as the Catholic Engaged Encounter, courses on understanding new generations, and is accepting of other religions. He has been happily married to his wife for so long he doesn't need to count the years, even though she says he does, and they boast three adult children and their grandchildren and many pets.

Description
In this Unreal Engine 5 course, entirely made with Blueprints, we'll create an advanced inventory system that is fully replicated(Working in multiplayer). We will also create an item inspection system similar to most other horror games. This will also be a great addition to your portfolio! The inventory system is very flexible and it will be able to be used on other items that should have an inventory, such as Chests, Drawers and so on. We'll also add a filter system to the inventory system, allowing you to filter items and show them in the corresponding inventory grid.We will start with basic stuff, such as setting up the project and organizing our work. After that, we will start creating our data tables and structs. Lastly, we will start creating our inventory component and data component as well as health component. We will then start implementing our logic in the inventory component, which can be reused and added to other actors. You can easily expand on this and use this inventory system in your multiplayer games. This is the perfect course for you if you want to learn to do an inventory system that is flexible and can be used in a multiplayer context. The item inspection system will also be a good addition in this project, as we might want to be able to inspect other items before picking them up.The entire project is available for download in: section 1 - project setup, using Unreal 5.4.4
