With Love is a studio album by French singer Amanda Lear, released in 2006 by Dance Street. The album is a collection of covers of songs previously performed by other female vocalists.
The album was recorded at Blue Sound Studio in Levallois-Perret and LR Studio in Villeneuve between May and August 2006. It contains covers of evergreens and jazz standards by the disco diva's own favourite divas, among them Eartha Kitt, Dalida, Peggy Lee, Mae West, Nina Simone, Marlene Dietrich and Juliette Gréco. The album came five years after the album Heart, on which Lear covered three evergreens: "Hier Encore", "The Look of Love" and "Lili Marleen", and only a year after her covers compilation Sings Evergreens. Lear had also released an all-cover EP in 1985, A L.
The album was released by ZYX Music in Germany in 2007 with a bonus live recording of the track "Johnny", and in 2008 in Italy under the title Amour toujours (French for Love Forever) with two re-recordings of Lear's Seventies hits "Queen of Chinatown" and "Tomorrow" as bonus tracks. The album was re-reissued by ZYX Music again in November 2008, then as a mid-price release under the title My Baby Just Cares for Me, with a different artwork and without any of the bonus tracks. The digital version of the album includes both the live version of "Johnny" and new versions of "Queen of Chinatown" and "Tomorrow".
No singles were released from the album, however, a promotional music video was produced, depicting Lear performing excerpts of various songs from the album in the studio, directed by Denis Larrieste.

When it was first heard in 1962, Mauricio Kagels organ piece 'Improvisation ajoutée created a scandal. The cause was clearly the sounds the organist and his two assistants were required to produce in addition to the sounds of the instrument Big Data the title reveals the defining themes of this recording! The Decoder Ensemble considers the possibilities and consequences of the limitless availability of media in the digital age. All of the pieces here focus in different ways on common contemporary practices like remixing, copying & pasting, sampling, and recycling. An involvement with these techniques is natural for the members of Decoder, three of whom are themselves composers. The group, founded in 2011, calls itself a 'band for contemporary music' and is actively involved in the newest musical developments and trends including electronics, computer techniques, multimedia, and elements of pop and rock music. The idea for this CD grew out of the groups 'Big Data Weekend. According to clarinetist Carola Schaal, this was a small festival 'organized in 2017 by the Decoder Ensemble for which the group commissioned eight works dealing with the theme of remix. We chose several of those works for this CD, as well as a piece by Brigitta Muntendorf that seems to us to fit perfectly with the others'.

The periodic table jumble codename that is 2xirtam (aka the duo of Lee Anthony Norris and Frank Rumpelt) debuted the remarkable Quantized Memories on Carpe Sonum last year, and it appears that in that time, their imaginative breadth has been fired up as if by exploding supernovae. Quantum Worlds continues those previous machinations, and to say that it's an, uh, quantum leap forward from their opening salvo is to damn with faint praise. Who's responsible for what across these seven tracks is unclear, and, frankly, it doesn't matter: Norris and Rumpelt are so in sync it's scary, seemingly able to both complement and augment each other's textural hues to a telepathic degree. The net effect is nigh on stunning. Tracks like the spellbinding "LF Quantization" and "Quantum State" will have you reliving the glory days of Atom Heart, Eyephone, and Nonplace Urban Field, not to mention some of Norris' golden Norken work, all of which is handily subsumed and recontextualized in the two tracks' bracing pattern 'n' pulse. It's a dazzling feast for the senses: sounds snap, crackle and pop, whole rhythmic intersystems are erected, arise, percolate, and iris. What results is ultimately the kind of stuff that's always drawn the more discerning of us to electronic music in the first place, the creation of heretofore unrealized sonic universes, sensations and tinctures the ear has never previously tasted, the genesis of trompe l'oeil for the cerebellum. Here's the real deal folks, ripe and ready for the picking.
